Choose your must-haves before the tour
Write down three requirements and three preferences. Avoid averaging away a true deal-breaker: a beautiful kitchen does not cancel out an entrance you cannot comfortably use.
Walk through your actual routines
Trace the route from parking to groceries, bedroom to bathroom, and laundry to storage. Measure important furniture and doorways. Record observations rather than guessing from listing photos.
Separate visible features from facts to verify
Ask for current association documents, expense details, and maintenance information. Treat a verbal answer as a starting point where documents or professional review are needed. The worksheet helps organize questions; it does not replace inspections or due diligence.
Compare after you leave
Complete your notes while the visit is fresh. Which home meets the must-haves? What additional costs or changes would be needed? List unanswered questions before deciding whether to move forward.
